  1. The amendment allows a female member of the service and a single male member of the service to avail Childcare Leave for a maximum period of seven hundred and thirty days during their entire service. 2. During the period of Childcare Leave, the member of the service will receive one hundred percent of their leave salary for the first three hundred and sixty-five days and eighty percent for the subsequent three hundred and sixty-five days.

  3. Childcare Leave is limited to three spells in a calendar year. However, for a single female member of the service, it may be granted for up to six spells, with each spell not being less than five days.

  4. A separate leave account will be maintained for Childcare Leave, distinct from other leave accounts, and it will not be debited against them.
